Kensington Hospital have partnered with Cemplicity to implement an exciting initiative to capture patient-reported experience measures (PREMs) in real-time.

Operating for almost 20 years, Kensington Hospital is the only comprehensive private surgical hospital in Northland, New Zealand. It has four operating theatres performing over 4,000 procedures per year and a 19-bed Inpatient Suite for patients requiring ongoing care. Ongoing increase in demand for services from the region with the drive to enhance health through clinical excellence means that Kensington Hospital are investing significantly over the coming years to meet this demand and achieve its goals.

The team at Kensington Hospital recognise the value and importance of patient experience feedback and how capturing it effectively can identify opportunities for improvement and recognition in the level of service and care provided.

Cemplicity’s dynamic, and automated portal will give the hospital the ability to have a real-time view of their patients’ feedback. Allowing for more time and energy to be focussed on accessing the insights captured and driving improvements.

Being the only private surgical hospital in Northland, it is difficult to compare performance against other private hospitals. As part of this initiative, Kensington will also be able to benchmark themselves against other private hospitals in New Zealand and internationally.
